Cronus Zen Setup for NBA 2K27 on PC

On PC the Zen presents itself as a standard controller to Windows, which makes setup simple — and since Zen Studio runs on the same machine, updating scripts takes seconds.

  1. 1

    Update your Zen's firmware

Install Zen Studio on a PC or Mac, connect the Zen via the PROG (side) USB port, and accept the firmware update if prompted. An outdated firmware is the #1 cause of connection problems after console system updates.

  2. 2

    Load the GreenLock script

Open your GreenLock download from Whop, drag the .gpc file into Zen Studio's programmer, and flash it to one of the Zen's memory slots. This is the only step that needs a computer — after this, the Zen runs standalone.

  3. 3

Connect the Zen to your console

Plug the Zen's CONSOLE USB port into the console using a quality data cable. The Zen's OLED screen powers on and shows the connection status.

  4. 4

    Authenticate your controller

Connect your controller to the Zen (wired, or via the Zen's Bluetooth pairing depending on model). Some consoles require a specific controller for authentication — check Cronus's current compatibility documentation for your exact setup.

  5. 5

Select the script slot and calibrate

Use the Zen's wheel to select the GreenLock memory slot, boot NBA 2K27, and run the guided jumpshot calibration from the script menu. Pick the tuning profile that matches your build, and you're live.

Platform notes

  • Set NBA 2K27 to controller input (not keyboard/mouse) so the game reads the Zen's output natively.
  • Close remapping software like Steam Input configs, DS4Windows, or reWASD while using the Zen — stacked remappers cause double-input bugs.
  • PC gets game patches on the same schedule as console — script re-tunes cover all platforms simultaneously.
